The Dallas Arboretum is filled with a burst of deep, warm
Fall color wherever you look during the months of Sept. and Oct.
The grounds are covered with thousands of pumpkins, gourds and fall flowers. Join me as we sketch, paint and journal-illustrate during this beautiful and peaceful day of Fall in all of its glory- Texas style! Any medium is welcome. I will be demonstrating in watercolor and pastel. Finding your subject matter, framing and cropping your composition, transposing from 3d to 2d on your paper/canvas, correct proportions/perspective and how to find correct value will all be discussed and demonstrated. We will be meeting inside the ticket booth at the front entrance of the Arboretum at 9:45 am. Must provide your own supplies and easel, if required. Purchased refreshments and bathrooms are available on grounds.
Cost: $ 160.
